Do we need a new phone number to use your call answering service ?
The choice is yours. You can retain your existing number and we will provide you
with a number to forward your calls. This allows us to set up your answering service knowing that the
incoming call is for your business. Alternatively we can connect a new number for you. This can be a local code number
(starting with a 01 or 02), a 0800 freephone number, a 0845 Numbers, 0844 numbers, 0871 numbers, international free phone
numbers or even virtual landline numbers in over 4000 cities across the world. Please ask for details of these various numbers.
Is there a minimum term for the service ?
The minimum period is 30 days. This gives you the flexibility to
have cover over holiday periods, sickness cover, staff shortages etc.
How do we pay you for your call answering service ?
You can either pay by credit card using Paypal, by bank transfer or an old fashioned cheque
in the post. The rental is payable monthly in advance and any call charges are billed in arrears.
How quickly can we set up the call answering service ?
Normally it is set up on the same day - at worst within 24 hours. We do require information
relating to the incoming calls so that we can answer them properly. Once we have this information and your payment is in place,
we can start the service.
What are your opening hours for incoming calls ?
The service is available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Out
with these times, we provide a free personalised voicemail service. This means that calls received are answered
in your name. The message is recorded and forwarded to you as an email attachment. This lets
you check your messages on your computer.
How do our calls forward to your service ?
This depends on your phone. Our technical experts can help
set up diverts etc and configure your system. If you have any questions about
this please call to talk this through.
I would like a number in a different town - can I do this ?
Yes – We have 'virtual numbers' for over 400 towns and cities throughout
the UK. These numbers can be set up to forward to your existing phone and then overflow to us so we can answer
your calls for you.
What is a Fax to Email service ?
Also known as a fax2email service. We supply a new phone
number (0800, 0845, 0844 or 0871 or local area code) and you use this for your incoming faxes. Your
faxes are forwarded to you as an email attachment. This is an automated process and is very
secure without anyone else seeing your fax.
